Take the Open Water Diver Course with no hidden costs

You can become a fully certified PADI Open Water Diver in just four days. Either by taking the course as a single four-day package or over two weekends.

With PADI, learning is fun. You can start to learn scuba diving even today, in the comfort of your home, with the world’s largest training agency. Courses are supported with professional manuals and DVDs, even optional CD Roms, whatever you think makes learning easier. Once you develop a knowledge base in your own time, at home, you’ll review this knowledge under the supervision of your instructor, do practice dives in confined water and controlled conditions, then conduct four completion dives at sea (not in an isolated inland quarry or lake but the real sea where you most probably will dive in the future!)

Our courses include all listed items with no hidden costs. Indeed, at UE the cost includes manuals, slates, log book pages, scuba equipment rental, all air fills, all pool time, full PADI certification, diver ID card, badge and even MDD Club membership!

You are only asked to pay the relevant boat fees where vessels are used. When you successfully complete the course, you will receive your PADI recognition materials, Open Water Diver badge, PADI photo-ID card (valid throughout the world) and be registered with PADI international at no extra cost.

ImageWhy PADI Open Water?
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with us first to see how credit from these courses may apply.

What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.

What will I do?
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (sea) dives.

How long will it take?
PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Generally the course is conducted over four consecutive days or two weekends.

What is included?
PADI Open Water Crew-Pak, PADI Open Water Video or DVD, Log Book, Air fills, SCUBA Equipment Rental* and MDD Club Membership!

*) For hygiene and comfort reasons, we do not provide masks, snorkels and neoprene boots. We have a wide range in stock and can help you to choose suitable ones with good fit – at 10% off advertised prices. Just drop in!
